Warsaw, Poland — In a move towards strengthening its presence in Poland, Evernex held the official opening of its new office in the heart of Warsaw. The ceremony took place on the 19th of July, marking a significant milestone in the company’s history in the country.
The new office is the result of months of dedicated effort, and it brings together under a single roof the teams from the two offices the company had in Warsaw until recently.
The strategically chosen location for the office is within the Poleczki Park complex, which is located in the Warsaw city center and only five minutes away from the country’s largest airport. In addition, the Poleczki Park complex also provides easy access to various amenities, including a nearby hotel, perfect for visiting clients and partners. Additionally, the shuttle service from the airport adds to the convenience of reaching the office hassle-free.
The state-of-the-art facility boasts a spacious 500 m2 of office space, a 350 m2 warehouse, and an additional 150 m2 split between a lab and a showroom showcasing an array of equipment, including mainframes and tape libraries. Moreover, the employees have access to a “break room” where they can unwind and recharge, complete with recreational activities like a ping pong table.
The commitment from Evernex to environmental sustainability is evident in the design and construction of the new office. The building employs eco-friendly practices, such as the use of filtered water and automated lighting systems to optimize energy consumption. The cleverly designed blinds automatically adapt to the sunlight, harnessing natural light to illuminate the office space effectively.
Notably, the interior walls of the office are adorned with bricks recovered from destroyed buildings, giving the space a unique touch.
The office’s environmentally conscious approach also extends to its cooling system, which does not rely on traditional air conditioning using freon. Instead, cold water circulates through pipes in the ceiling, and wind-powered fans provide a sustainable cooling solution, significantly reducing the location’s carbon footprint.
